Before his promotion to CMO, Curt Matlach was the Marketing Director for Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services, bringing a depth of marketing and sales knowledge learned from his 25+ years of marketing and sales experience. Curt has gained years of valuable experience working as a co-founder for startups Nueterra HR and Quadrant PHR to working at larger, Fortune 500 companies like Merrill Lynch and Charles Schwab.
Curt Matlach’s Early Years In Healthcare
Entering the healthcare industry in 2010, Curt Matlach became the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nueterra HR Solutions, a national healthcare PEO. As one of the original four co-founders, Curt created and implemented their national marketing plan, building and training an innovative marketing team from the ground up.
Their team increased the total number of worksite employees from startup (with four employees) to over 3000 across 30 states in under two years. Additionally, during this time, Mr. Matlach was published in the PEO industry-leading publication, the NAPEO Insider. The NAPEO Insider 11/2011 published Curt’s article “Working with Medical Provider Clients.”
In 2012, Mr. Matlach co-founded Quadrant PHR, a national professional employer organization (PEO) with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charleston, South Carolina. He started the PEO with two employees and exited with 4,000+ worksite employees. Again, solely responsible for the strategic sales and marketing, digital and print branding development, and launching of the website, QuadrantPHR.com.
In addition to implementing a nationwide sales and marketing plan, he built a full suite of employee benefit plans while forging a network of referring partners, agents, brokers, and advisors. Under his watch, Quadrant PHR helped provide solutions that helped small to medium-sized business owners reduce substantial costs, ultimately having a robust and positive effect on profitability in companies across the country.
Recent Time At Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services
After his exit from Quadrant PHR, Curt joined Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services. His leadership has reinvigorated the organization’s brand awareness and sister companies, Fifth Avenue Agency, Primoris Credentialing Network, and 5ACVO.
As Marketing Director, Curt Matlach helped deliver a strategic marketing initiative to expand corporate recognition and build new client relationships. He designed and launched the award-winning healthcare brand 5ACVO along with websites for 5ACVO and Primoris Credentialing Network, winning the Healthcare AD Award for redesigning the Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services corporate website in 2020.
Curt also produced the Fifth Avenue Agency website and credentialing blogs for all four Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services companies. He is responsible for publishing over 200 blog posts in six months that inform and educate readers on healthcare industry-relevant topics.
His complete brand update at Fifth Avenue included brand books, taglines, logos, business cards, letterhead, and digital marketing prints. He synchronized fresh marketing with a new customer relationship management system and email campaign provider. Additionally, he spearheaded the effort to expand the social media presence of all Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services companies across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
