Thankful For 2022 & Happy New Year!

The end of each year is a bittersweet time. We say goodbye to the past and hello to an uncertain future. Here at Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services, we are grateful for all the gifts 2022 brought us. If this year has forecast what is to come, we look forward to a fantastic 2023!

This year brought us considerable changes to our company’s personnel and growth. Moving ahead is sometimes scary, but our team can continue the fine work that has defined them as industry leaders.

We Are Grateful for Our Team Members

Our Fifth Avenue Family’s loyalty, proficiency, and enthusiasm for what they do have contributed to our lasting success. From new faces to long-tenured friends, everyone has demonstrated unbelievable prowess in providing our clients with credentialing, provider enrollment, and MPLI services.

Comings and Goings

Although long-time employees like Amy Haney and Lindey Robbin are no longer with us, we acknowledge their contributions to our foundational success and are forever grateful for their help in establishing our business presence and cultural identity.

We have added new team members to help maintain our momentum. Anastasia Rachkovski, Victoria Ozment, Rebecca Hofer, and Kortney Stites have joined our highly effective team. We cannot wait to applaud their efforts in the next year.

Long-Tenured Friends

We celebrated the longevity of many of our team members this year. Among those who have supported us for over a decade are James Feist, Michelle Seba, Joe Spann Sr., Bill Navarette, and Kathleen Whitty.

  • James Feist is a Co-Founder and Chairman of Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services. His decades of knowledge have helped raise our company’s reputation as a leader in credentialing, medical professional liability insurance solutions, and provider enrollment. His experience as a business leader is only matched by his time as a family man, being a proud husband, father, and grandfather.

  • Our company’s long-time CVO Consultant, Michelle Seba, has spent 10 of her 30+ years in the industry with us. Since 2011, she has helped lay the groundwork for our credentialing policies and procedures. She inspires everyone she works with and provides an example for others.

    • Joe Spann Sr. is Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’s Director of Finance/HR. He is also an Associate with the Motor Racing Outreach Association, which aligns with his faith and passion for racing.

    • Bill Navarette, Chief Information Officer, celebrated 12+ years with us. Among his many accomplishments, he and his team immediately sprang into action at the beginning of the COVID-19 public health emergency to transform the company’s IT infrastructure into a multi-state remote group. He has also worked to ensure our clients experienced minimal service disruptions during this transition. His keen expertise and desire to help others are integral to our continued operations.

    • CVO Specialist Kathleen Whitty has used her decade-plus healthcare industry experience to significant effect. Paired with her rapport, her abilities help shape what our company is all about.

    Promotions

2022 saw 3 Fifth Avenue Family members rewarded for their abilities to exceed expectations. This year, Donna Gaydos, Curt Matlach, and Jillian Davis were promoted for their diligent work.

    • New! Chief Cultural Officer (CCO). Former Director of Data Integrity Management Donna Gaydos was promoted to CCO, and her 20+ years of healthcare experience successfully led her team through several carrier audits. She has supervised our credentialing procedures to ensure they meet our clients’ demands. Donna’s expertise and humility have helped mold our company’s goals and values. It is appropriate that she is now tasked with maintaining our company’s culture.

    • New! Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Curt Matlach shifted from Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services Marketing Director to Chief Marketing Officer. With over two decades of marketing and sales experience, Curt remains dedicated to increasing our company’s visibility among our peers and prospective clients. His time working with Fortune 500 companies like Merrill Lynch and Charles Schwab benefits our company to this day. He continues to demonstrate his tenacity to solve complicated problems with creative solutions.

    • New! Executive Director of Credentialing (EDC). Before her promotion to Executive Director of Credentialing Operations, Jillian Davis served as our company’s Director of Credentialing Operations. She has leveraged her 10+ years of industry expertise to lead her team to monumental success. Her persistence to improve existing processes and procedures has helped lift Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ already excellent standards. Her promotion rewards her indispensable skills in an industry that requires pinpoint accuracy.

We are Thankful for Our Growth

We want to thank everyone who has participated in our efforts to acquire new clients and keep current ones. Your work has increased our brand image and revenue growth in several areas.

Delegated Credentialing New Markets In Missouri and Illinois

Our provider enrollment company, Primoris Credentialing Network, has expanded its service area into Missouri and Illinois. Providers in those states can now enjoy Primoris’ delegated credentialing to get to work and begin billing as soon as possible. Using one application to add a provider to multiple health plans and networks can save time, leading to more revenue for providers and their practices.

Delegated Credentialing for Illinois with Primoris

Our trusted partners facilitated the market expansions at Anders CPA + Advisors. They offer advisory, audit, assurance, and tax services to businesses of all sizes. They can also help providers obtain their licenses after finishing the credentialing and provider enrollment processes, two highly involved tasks Primoris can efficiently perform.

Anders Health Care, the healthcare arm of Anders CPAs + Advisors, can manage all of a provider’s licensing needs. Providers do not have to struggle with collecting all their credential verifications and the other time-consuming administrative steps. Anders can free providers to offer the best patient care and grow their practices.

Collaborating with Anders CPAs + Advisors has been a boon to our provider clients and operations. Both companies are proud to deliver exceptional results to our clients and communities. We are thankful for their assistance and hope to collaborate with them for the foreseeable future.

    Credentialing Technology Advances

This year, we soft-launched the 5ACVO Credentialing Web Portal. We want to give our member providers a fast and effortless way to access their credentialing data files. The Web Portal allows them to do so whenever they want from any device. They can view their information if they can connect to the Internet.

Our IT team constantly updates the platform to improve functionality and security. We know how important data privacy and protection are in health care, and we strive to secure our clients’ data against cyber threats.

    Best Credentialing Web Portal

Through the credentialing web portal, our clients can:

    • Access their credentialing progress,
    • Create and view reports for all of their files,
    • Customize logins for administrators,
    • Upload and save their documents in a customized e-filing cabinet,
    • And more.

We do not hold much stock in crystal balls, but if we look into the future, we might see other technological improvements made to the portal and behind the scenes. Progress marches on, and we aim to keep pace.

    NCQA Credentialing Accreditation

NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance) is committed to improving healthcare quality. NCQA Credentialing Accreditation measures any organization that offers credentialing services to ensure it can maintain a first-rate network for its contracted clients.

NCQA Credentialing Accreditation Obtained by Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services

Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services and our affiliated lines of services, including 5ACVO and Primoris Credentialing Network, have completed the long auditing process to earn NCQA Credentialing Accreditation. Our processes were successfully evaluated, garnering recognition for our quality improvement efforts. We proudly join an exclusive group of approximately 90 organizations that have gained the same honor. NCQA Credentialing Accreditation proves we can promptly and accurately credential providers so they can start billing sooner and act according to accepted standards of care. This status can appeal to potential clients who want to be credentialed and enrolled in health plans quickly and confidently.

We are thankful to every team member who helped us attain this victory!

    Perfect Credentialing Audits

We must regularly undergo audits to maintain our contracts with health plans and network options. In March 2022, MultiPlan completed an audit on Primoris Credentialing Network’s delegated provider enrollment policies and procedures. The healthcare cost management company’s audit demonstrated that Primoris’ policies and procedures met all the requirements for credentialing, re-credentialing, appeals, provider rights monitoring, and system controls.

MultiPlan is one of Primoris’ 54+ health plan and network provider enrollment options. As a delegated option, MultiPlan is one of the most straightforward plan providers can join. Delegated contracts often result in expedited provider enrollment. All it takes is one application to add a provider to several plans. This is frequently faster than the conventional method of sending one to each plan. Providers can apply to 25+ delegated health plan enrollment payors at once.

The MultiPlan audit is only one in a series that our outstanding team has passed. With more inevitably on the way, we appreciate every chance to show our provider clients and ourselves that what we do matters.

Awards recognize accomplishments, create opportunities, and create momentum. Every company should constantly aim to increase its authority and market presence. Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services was honored three times this year for its marketing work.

The dotCOMM Awards acknowledge superior web creativity and digital communication. Judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, they are bestowed on numerous professions across many industries. Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services won the 2022 dotCOMM Award for Best Medical Website.

We want to thank the IT team and everyone else who has pitched in to make our website more than a promotional tool. It is a destination where medical providers can visit for reliable solutions to credentialing, provider enrollment, and MPLI questions. Our clients also depend on the site to keep up with their credentialing data. We are incredibly thankful that our demanding work pays off every day.

We Are Excited About Our Future

Although 2023 is a blank slate, we here at Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services are already grateful for the upcoming opportunities to build new relationships that enhance medical care in our country.
